Monroe County Veterans Affairs Transportation Program & Satellite Office Hours Reminders
MONROE COUNTY, FL – If you are a Veteran and need transportation to and from medical appointments at or around the Miami VA Hospital, Monroe County Veterans Affairs offers round trip transportation Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays for scheduled appointments. Transportation departs Key West at 5 a.m. and returns from the hospital at 2 p.m. Pickup and dropoff are at areas throughout the Florida Keys. Reservations can be made by calling 305-295-5159 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monroe County Veterans Affairs also has a Marathon satellite office on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Monroe County Public Library Marathon Branch, 3490 Overseas Highway, Marathon.
The satellite office offers all the services found at the Key West and Key Largo Veterans Affairs offices and is staffed with an accredited Veterans Service Officer. Appointments are recommended but not required—call 305-295-5150 to make an appointment.
