Monroe County School District Hurricane Irma Notice

MONROE COUNTY, Fla. — Superintendent Mark Porter has made the decision to close schools tomorrow, Wednesday September 6th, 2017, until further notice.  All meetings, including the school board meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 7th, are postponed until further notice as well.

Please take this time to ensure you have a preparedness plan in place.  In addition, please adhere to all advisories, warnings and directions provided by the Monroe County Emergency Management which include evacuation from the areas to be most affected. We will update our website, www.keysschools.com and the Facebook page @mymcsd with any information related to schools over the course of the storm.
