MONROE COUNTY FIRE RESCUE THANKS BATTALION CHIEF DAVID SEBBEN
MARATHON, FL – Monroe County Fire Rescue thanks Battalion Chief David Sebben for his 25 years of dedicated service to our organization and community.
“Not only is this the greatest job in the world, but the brothers and sisters that I work with everyday make this the most fun job in the world,” said Sebben. “I couldn’t imagine doing anything else with my life and I’m honored to be a part of this profession.”
After going through Ocala Florida State Fire Academy, he started his career with Monroe County Fire Rescue in 1995. In 2001, he was one of the first flight medics on Trauma Star. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2007 and Captain in 2015; shortly thereafter, he became Battalion Chief.
“He has done an outstanding job leading the men and women that serve MCFR and the community,” said Deputy Chief Steve Hudson.
