MONROE COUNTY FIRE RESCUE RESPONDS TO HOUSE FIRE ON SUMMERLAND KEY 

SUMMERLAND KEY – Monroe County Fire Rescue responded to a call at 11:44 a.m. Friday of a single family house that was engulfed in flames at 627 E. Caribbean Driveon Summerland Key.

A boat and vehicle also were in flames at the residence.

Firefighters from Big Pine Key and Cudjoe Key stations worked to put out the fire. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the County and State Fire Marshals.
