Monroe County Breast Cancer Screening Event

Womankind, in partnership with Zonta Club of Key West, the Florida Department of Health in Monroe County, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation offered free breast cancer screenings, mammogram vouchers, and breast exams to over 20 women in a cancer screening event on August 19 at Womankind’s clinic in Key West.  Women were offered free screenings regardless of insurance status.  Door prizes and free breakfast were also provided.  For more information about Zonta’s services including cancer screenings, visit: www.zontakeywest.com.
