Miranda, Cruz, Bethencourt, and Macrohon Celebrate Milestone Anniversaries with First State Bank

First State Bank of the Florida Keys is proud to celebrate the ten-year anniversaries of Elizabeth Miranda, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, and Lucy Cruz, Vice President and Compliance Officer, as well as the five-year anniversaries of Teresa Bethencourt, Vice President and Deposit Operations Officer, and Sheila Macrohon, Deposit Operations Support Representative.

Miranda joined First State Bank in 2007 as Senior Vice President and Risk Manager and was promoted to her current position in 2010. Miranda holds an Accounting Degree from the Santa Maria University in Caracas, Venezuela. She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and Certified Business Manager.

Cruz joined First State Bank in 2007 as Compliance Officer.  She was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2009, and to her current position in 2017.  Cruz is a graduate of McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida.

Bethencourt joined First State Bank as Vice President, Deposit Operations Officer in 2012.  Originally from Miami, Bethencourt received her A.A. in Business from Miami Dade Community College.

Macrohon joined First State Bank as a Deposit Operations Support Representative in 2012.  Originally from the Philippines, she received her A.A. in Finance from Broward Community College.
