Migrants arrive from Cuba

9 Cuban migrants arrived early this morning at the 57.6 mile marker on Grassy Key. Sheriff’s dispatchers received phone calls as 2:20 a.m. about the group, who were in good shape when deputies arrived on the scene. All the migrants were turned over to Customs and Border Protection agents. Their boat was found behind the Rainbow Bend resort. The men told Deputy John Allen they left Cuba on December 24th.
