‘Miani Sassy Cat Fund’ at the Community Foundation Makes Recurring Gift to Bahama Village Music Program
Long-time Key West resident Phil Miani has made a generous commitment to an ongoing donation of $500 per month to provide operating support for the Bahama Village Music Program (BVMP).
The recurring gift comes from the “Miani Sassy Cat Fund” at the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys. A retired CFFK board member, Miani named the fund in honor of his black cat Sassy who recently passed away.
The Bahama Village Music Program provides free music education to youth who would not otherwise have access to private music instruction. Said Kawana Staffney, BVMP Executive Director, “We at the Bahama Village Music Program are eternally grateful to The Miani Sassy Cat Fund for their generous recurring donation to our program. This much needed funding will help us continue to make a joyful noise into the future.”
Individuals can honor someone they love by giving ongoing support to a cause they care about by opening a charitable fund at the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys. Call 305-292-1502 or visit cffk.org to learn more.
