Meal and Grocery Distribution today

On Wednesday, May 27, Islamorada Mayor Mike Forster, owner of Mangrove Mike’s will be providing free hot meals in Key West from noon until 2 p.m. at the Douglass Gym on Olivia Street.

Since March 20th, Mangrove Mike’s Endeavors has provided tens of thousands of hot meals throughout Monroe County to help support people in need.

People can drive through or walk up, so long as they maintain proper physical distances. All meals will be bagged and ready to go.

In addition, Farmshare and SOS will be delivering groceries at City Hall, off the United Street entrance – from 9 a.m. until noon on Wednesday May 27th.. This distribution will be drive through only.

In addition, the Seaside Café at the Mansion, sponsored by Michelle’s Foundation, will be providing free lunches for those in need on Friday May 29th. The meals are being provided from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Duval Pocket Park at 1400 Duval St. This is a walk-up giveaway, so please observe all CDC guidelines for social distancing.
