MAY SANDS MONTESSORI SCHOOL PRESENT POKER NIGHT AT THE KEY WEST THEATER

Join May Sands staff, families, board members and friendly faces from the community for a Key West style evening of Poker!  “By holding this event at historic Key West Theater, we are hoping to mimic the energy of the World Poker Championships held in Las Vegas”, says James Villegas of the May Sands School Board.

This is an adult only event with grand prizes for the top three finishers.  Prize packages include a two night get-away to Miami for first place; a two night stay-cation in Key West for second place; and third place gets a sandbar boat trip for eight friends.  There will be delicious food to give you energy and a full bar to give you courage!  There will be 18 tables with separate dealers giving the night a championship tournament atmosphere sure to fulfill any poker players’ desire to experience real tournament action.

No playing experience is necessary and you can even volunteer to be a dealer if you just want to be part of the excitement.  Proceeds will benefit the May Sands Montessori School, a tuition-free public school option for families of Monroe County.  Established in 1997, May Sands Montessori School is Monroe County’s first public charter school.  It is through exciting fund raising events like Poker Night that we can continue to provide Montessori education for free to our community.
