MATILDA THE MUSICAL gears up for week two at the Waterfront Playhouse at the Waterfront Playhouse

The large cast features Samara MacDonald as Matilda, David Black as the evil Miss Trunchbull, Jessica Miano Kruel as the teacher, Miss Honey, Lauren Thompson and Mathias Maloff as Matilda’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wormwood, Barbara Mundy as librarian Mrs. Phelps, Joshua Lawson as Rudolpho and HonahLeigh McConnell, Isabella Hunter, Ashlyn Picco, Sutton Sayer, Juliana Strunk, Dianna Holliman, Zyaire Allen, Phineas Haskell, Julien Gehin, Arthur Crocker, Ervin Tumm, James Harcup, Angelina Diaz, Mia Cawvey, Jillian Todd and Heather May Sloan as students, parents, and ensemble.
Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical is the captivating masterpiece from the Royal Shakespeare Company that revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life. Produced through a partnership between the Waterfront Playhouse, Waterfront Youth Theater and a grant from the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys, Matilda is packed with high-energy dance numbers, fabulous music and dazzling sets and costumes. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of the special girl with an extraordinary imagination.
