Man cited for fish violations
A 40-year-old Miami man was given a mandatory notice to appear in court citation Saturday for possessing undersized and over-the-limit mangrove snapper.
Marine Deputy Willie Guerra was on patrol at the Long Key Bridge when he observed Jose Antonio Polo Molina walking off the bridge with a rod and bucket in hand.
Deputy Guerra inspected his catch and found him to be in possession of 10 undersized mangrove snapper and four over-the-limit mangrove snapper.

Dead man found in the water
A man was found dead in Boot Key Harbor in Marathon by passing mariners Saturday.
The man was found about 50 feet from Boot Key Bridge at approximately 5 p.m.
Identification is pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of death remains under investigation, but foul play is not expected to be a factor.
Autopsy results are pending.
