Man charged with undersized lobster

Sheriff’s Office Marine Deputy Willie Guerra was on patrol at the south end of the Long Key Bridge when he spotted 34 year old Thien Phu Lu Diep in the water, diving for lobster. Deputy Guerra watched as the man caught several lobsters placing them on shore, under some rocks and seaweed. Further investigation revealed all four lobsters caught by Lu Diep to be undersized. He was issued a notice to appear in court for possessing undersized spiny lobster.
