Man arrested for robbery during dispute

A 59-year-old Islamorada man was arrested Tuesday for grabbing and throwing a woman’s cell phone during an argument with his landlord.

Bradley Eugene King was charged with robbery.

Sgt. Nick Whiteman responded to the 100 block of Iroquois Drive at approximately 4:30 p.m.

He found the victim/landlord and the suspect/tenant at the scene.

Cell phone video and witness testimony revealed King grabbed the cell phone from the victim and threw if off a second-floor balcony.

Both were involved in a tenant/landlord dispute at the time of the incident.

King was taken to jail.

Man arrested for child molestation

A 56-year-old Hollywood, Florida man was arrested Tuesday for molesting a female child.

Cesar Ramos Leandro was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation.

The child was in the sixth-grade at the time of the incident.

The Marathon incident was reported to the Sheriff’s Office in August.

The child described Ramos touched her inappropriately.

Warrants for issued for his arrest.

Ramos was booked into jail on Tuesday.
