Man arrested for large amount of pills
A 63-year-old Key Largo man was arrested Thursday for possession of more than 100 Oxycodone pills, cocaine and marijuana.
David Scott Cash was charged with multiple drug-related counts including possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone), marijuana and cocaine as well as marijuana sales and paraphernalia possession charges.
Members of the Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, SWAT Team, Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant at 119 Poinciana Drive in Key Largo early Thursday morning.
Cash was found inside. He was taken into custody without incident.
Law enforcement found the following inside the house:
- 111 Oxycodone pills with no prescription
- 37.4 grams of leaf marijuana
- 2.2 grams cocaine and crack cocaine
- Two digital scales and multiple pipes
- THC vape pens and cartridges
- A Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun and bullets
- A litany of other pills to be sent to the FDLE for further testing/identification
Cash was taken to jail.
