Man arrested for indecent exposure
A 65-year-old homeless Marathon man was arrested Monday for exposing and grabbing himself while waving his middle finger at another man and his 8-year-old son.
Marino Eugenio Sanchez was charged with indecent exposure.
The incident occurred on Aug. 30 at the Marathon Home Depot® parking lot. Deputy Darrel Walraven met the reporting person who said he was pulling into the parking lot with his son in the back seat when both saw an unknown man — whom the reporting person later identified out of a photo lineup as Sanchez — cursing at them while waving his middle finger in one hand whilst grabbing his exposed genitals with the other.
The man gave Deputy Walraven a description whom Deputy Walraven believed to be Sanchez based on Sanchez’s previous contacts with law enforcement. Deputy Ian Douthirt contacted Deputy Walraven and told him that he had seen Sanchez previously that day wearing the same color clothes as described by the man at Home Depot®.
Deputy Walraven and other Deputies searched for Sanchez, but did not find him.
A warrant was issued for Sanchez’s arrest and he was booked into jail Monday afternoon.
