Man arrested for assault
A 25-year-old Tavernier, Florida man was arrested Tuesday after making threats with a knife. There were no reported serious injuries.
Douglas Keashawn Mills was charged with aggravated assault, disturbing the peace, and tampering with evidence.
The Sheriff’s Office was first called to the Caribbean Club in Key Largo at approximately 10 p.m. where Mills was subsequently trespassed from after threatening another man.
Deputies were called a short time later to Cactus Jack’s Sports Bar & Pub in Key Largo after Mills threatened a female. Several other patrons held Mills back.
Mills was seen in security video footage tossing a knife under a vehicle at the scene. He was taken to jail.
