Local Boats Washed Ashore on Sunset Key

Key West, FL – September 21, 2017 – On September 10, 2017 fourteen boats washed ashore on Sunset Key following Hurricane Irma. Unfortunately, many of the boats are significantly damaged and some may be beyond repair. Where possible, we have documented boat names and Florida numbers. The homeowners of Sunset Key would like to help those affected by the storm who are looking for their boats lost in Key West harbor. If you believe your boat could be on Sunset Key please call 561-704-8800 with your vessel information so we can help. Once verification has been made, transportation will arranged to Sunset Key to check damages to their boats. We are working with TowBoat US and other salvage companies to assist with the removal or reflecting of the vessels.
