Live Commission Meeting also Available via Zoom
On Tuesday, October 6th at 5 p.m. the Key West City Commission will meet in person for the first time since March.
The chambers have been outfitted to ensure safe social distancing. Seating has been spread out, and capacity of the chambers reduced. Plexiglass panels have been installed between the seats on the dais ensuring that the commissioners and staff are protected.
Citizens who want to come to the meeting will have their temperatures taken at the door. Separate entrances and exits will be clearly marked. And anyone entering the building will be required to wear a mask at all times.
For those who prefer to participate virtually, there are several options: live streaming on the City’s website, Comcast Channel 77, and Zoom. In addition, there will be an outdoor viewing area just outside the chambers.

To request to speak during the virtual meeting, please sign up to speak through eComments prior to the start of the meeting to be placed on a list. The eComments can be found on the City’s website under “agendas and minutes” at www.cityofkeywest-fl.gov. The last four digits of the phone number you call in on will need to be provided in your eComment, this will be used to identify you as the speaker. Please dial *9 when your item comes up on the agenda.
You will need to follow the instructions on listening to the meeting via phone, when your name is called, you will be unmuted and you will have 3 minutes to speak. The average number of words for a three-minute speech is between 300 and 350 words.
