Literary Walking Tour Adds New Day and Time
Key West, Florida – The Key West Literary Seminar is now offering its Old Town Literary Walking Tour every Friday evening at 5 p.m. The Friday tours are in addition to the weekly Saturday morning tours at 10 a.m. The leisurely stroll features the former homes and favorite haunts of some of Key West’s best-known writers, including Tennessee Williams, Shel Silverstein, Elizabeth Bishop, and Robert Frost, and illuminates the life of letters in our island city.
All tours depart from the Key West public library, 700 Fleming St. Reservations are required and can be made at kwls.org/tour or call 305-293-9291. The cost of the 90-minute walk is $30 per person, with discounts for current teachers, librarians, and students.
