Literacy Volunteers of America – Monroe County, Inc.
LVA’s Bob Wood Honored: When Literacy Volunteers of America (LVA) Volunteer of the Month Bob Wood isn’t giving personal ZOOM tutorials to tutors and students in the Lower, Middle and Upper Keys, he’s a realtor at Keller Williams, also, a local actor in theater productions. We even hear he has a pretty good singing voice. Special thanks to Bob and the Keys Open Doors Foundation Student Goal Getters Program for providing program ipads and online teaching tools helping LVA evolve through technology. For information on being a volunteer or a student, stop by LVA at 2405 North Roosevelt Blvd., (behind the Lions Club building) Key West, visit their website: lva-monroe.org, or call/text Mary at 305-304-0578. LVA has programs in the Lower, Middle and Upper Keys.
