Our nation is committed to the Rule of Law, the US Constitution and Democracy.  President Abe Lincoln described this as government of, by and for The People.  If these principles are perverted, ignored, diminished and slide away, the American people and their nation will suffer at every level.

As one example, Article 1 Section 8 of the US Constitution lists all the powers of Congress.  It says simply and briefly that it is CONGRESS that has the power “TO DECLARE WAR”.

Another recent example is how our government relates to our allies and our adversaries so as to avoid war and encourage peace.  Admittedly, past presidents from both parties have expanded their role involving war, but our
Constitution could not be more clear, and should be respected.  President Trump chose to initiate war with Iran by himself while our adversaries, Putin and Russia, chose to assist our Iran opponents with intelligence that could cause the deaths of American troops.  Strangely, Trump is quick to kill citizens from countries without reasonable cause, yet he fails to react to an enemy dictator who is helping to kill our troops.  The US should be doing everything possible to to save and protect our ally, Ukraine.

It is incomprehensible to me that any incompetent POTUS could initiate a war of his choice, call it his war, and ignore both Congress and the American people – and not be impeached.
