Letter to the Editor / Superintendent Porter

I read in today’s Citizen that the Experiment in International Living is inviting all Monroe County students to enter its Global Leaders essay contest.  There is a valuable prize for 15 winners who could receive competitive scholarships ranging from $500 to full scholarships in the 2017 summer abroad program with the experiment.

I believe this to be a wonderful opportunity for our students and I hope that the District strongly encourages participation.
