The Senate’s Kavanaugh advice and consent process isn’t about SEX ( though he is accused of sexual assault, attempted rape, exposing himself and of witnessing gang rape), nor is it about being Drunk and Disorderly (though several college acquaintances, and a police report, accused Kavanaugh of such incidents).
This inquiry is now about three issues: Lies, Judicial Temperament and Partisan political conspiracy rants. Any one of these serious concerns could, and should, be grounds for disqualification of a Supreme Court nominee. If this sounds harsh or like a standard too high, recall a 41 year old SC nominee, Douglas Ginsburg, who in 1987 was forced to withdraw his nomination because NPR’s Nina Tottenberg reported he had smoked a joint on several occasions before he was a judge.
A Supreme Court Justice, with the absolute power to judge others, must be above the partisan fray and have the highest integrity, truthfulness and impartial judicial temperament. It’s imperative that the court and the justices maintain the trust and respect of all who appear before them as well as the American people. If they don’t, our three branch democracy won’t survive.

Right, as much as DNC’s whitewashing of Dem Congressman Hakim Muhammad (nee Keith Ellison) domestic abuse allegations.
Moving goalposts on the USSC nominee won’t change that reality. Roger’s pontificating proves the point.
Kostmayer your statement is logically sound but as all of your “statements’ empty. If your rules of highest integrity, truthfulness and impartial judicial temperament were to hold water, then there would never be Jewish judges, Black Judges, Native America Judges, Gay or Lesbo judges, Homeless judges, etc., etc.! Only AI judges from the Left like you would bench!
Another rant…what you gonna do on Saturday when Kavanaugh becomes SCOTUS?
About time Kavanaugh stood up for himself…there is an issue of personal honor after all! I would have been disappointed if he demurred (like Romney in the 2012 election). Glad Kavanaugh stood up to bullies as we need someone to do this in today’s world! Funny how quickly the bullies fell apart.

Lies…what lies? The IceGate incident turns out to be false per the Police report. Oh drinking, well didn’t we just have a President that did pot and “maybe a little blow”. So does Ms. Ford remember when she filed a report…like what decade?
Judicial temperament…saw a cool, calm, collected Kavanaugh. There were no fisticuffs at the hearing. Too bad.
Conspiracy rants…not a conspiracy but fact when Soros is funding the Socialist Democrats to act against Kavanaugh.
Appears Kavanaugh learned lessons from a previous experience…

AP reported Friday that Kavanaugh advances to a final vote on Saturday.
The FBI did a fantastic job contacting the witnesses provided by Ford. The witnesses didn’t appear to corroborate Ford’s story or help her convenient amnesia.
The snowflakes are melting; stocking up on coloring books and crayons in their safe spaces.
The Socialist Dems appear to have failed even throwing victims with memory issues, drinking songs and oh yes “temperament”. The Socialists forgot the kitchen sink. They overlooked that Kavanaugh pulled a little girl’s hair in pre-school and put chewing gum under his desk in grammar school…ah a new FBI investigation is needed (sic).
I look forward to more tomes by the author lamenting the loss.
