LETTER TO THE EDITOR / GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN
Wait ! What ? Are we really having this conversation ? We are going to shut down the government of The United States of America BECAUSE ? Let’s step outside the box . Because POTUS and most Americans want border security and the Democrats are pissed that Hillary lost? Or some derivative of that scenario ? You can’t make this stuff up folks . Everybody knows we need a “wall.” The Democrats resist because ? In spite of our nation’s security and safety they want to win . Power over country . The parade of misfits on the left versus the panty waist crowd on the right .The Coast Guard doesn’t get paid ? WHAT ? TSA sick leave sky rockets ! WHAT ? You mean the same people who go through your luggage and moonlight as crack/ cocaine distributors are calling in sick for their day job ? Man, I hope David Sudaris is taking all this down . So 3000 miles away I sit in my Northern California mountain retreat surrounded by the Uber Liberals of Silicon Valley wondering : Has the Left gone mad ?

Respect the letter writer and beliefs but I do beg to respectfully differ with that point of view concerning the so-called left. In fact, the right remains insane. The further they reside from the border they seek barriers. Let’s build them a castle and most. No electric, gas or other utilities and allow them to live in medieval splendor. Even GOP electeds who represent communities “on the border” (what a great Eagles album by the way!) express no clamor whatsoever for the infamous wall.
