KWPD Detectives Arrest Cocaine Dealer

On June 20, the Key West Police Department Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at 1405 Truman Avenue Apartment 3.

The search warrant was obtained after a narcotics investigation was initiated into James Anthony Gavin III, 50.

During the search, detectives located baggies of powder cocaine that were individually packaged for sales.

Gavin was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a park.
