Key West Sunrise Rotary installs 2016-17 President and Board

NAS Key West Public Affairs Officer Trice Denny will lead Key West Sunrise Rotary as president for 2016-17. She succeeds Key West City Manager Jim Scholl as head of the 28-year-old civic organization.

Other club officers are Sue Hyde, president-elect/secretary; Stephanie Griffiths, treasurer; Sean Morton, sergeant-at-arms; and George Wallace, parliamentarian. Board directors and committee chairs include Hal Barrett, scholarships; Tim Dahms, visual media; Brian Doe, membership; Julie Doe, administration/attendance; Ron Demes and Scott Duszynski, community service; Fred Hildebrandt, programs; Gena Parsons, publicity; Stan Rzad, international service; and Jim Scholl, past president/Rotary Foundation.

The Key West Sunrise Rotary Club in the Conch Republic, established in 1988, supports charities and college scholarships through fundraising events including Brewfest, Poker Run and a golf tournament. It meets on Fridays at 7:10 a.m. at the Marriott Beachside Hotel.
