Key West Mile Markers invite the community to a wonderful wine tasting at Grand Vin!
Local resident Bobbie Cotton rides from Miami to Key West during the 165 mile charity Smart Ride in 2017.
Please join the Key West Mile Markers for a “send off” fundraiser and wine tasting Friday, January 12 at Grand Vin at 6:00 pm, only one week before they join hundreds of bicyclists for a charity 165 mile ride from Miami to Key West.
Mile Markers, the local team of 25 riders and 15 crew have unbelievable silent auction items and will be drawing for the hand painted tandem bike enhanced in unique beauty by local artist, Rick Worth.
Jackie Gwidt, herself a rider for the Mile Markers, will be pouring delicious wines which will be available to purchase at greatly reduced prices. Light appetizers will be served.
Donations for entry will be gratefully received at the door.
“Come be a part of Key West history and help send off this team of enthusiastic riders 165 miles down Highway One,” said Donald Dotzauer Co-Captain of the Key West Mile Markers.
“Our journey will be filled with hope, pride, and the dream of a future free of AIDS. Every penny raised will be given to AIDS Service Organizations directed to prevention, education and direct services. We can help free future generations of living with HIV, while helping those already affected, infected or at risk today stay healthy,” said Karen Frank Noll Co-Captian of the Key West Mile Markers.
