Duval Square’s Jag Gallery welcomes the new year with an artistic bang, with the return of Pennsylvania based artist Joey Tepedino, now on view with a selection of vivid, bold and power filled new mixed media works on canvas.  First seen in the gallery’s 2022 SMALL WORKS juried show, Tepedino has since been hailed by critics as an artist who deals in “euphoria”, creating a window into the inner workings of his own psyche through the development of a unique visual vocabulary.  From loud expressions of emotion to simple thoughts and experience, his wild paintings capture the nuance of what it is to be alive today.

Concurrently showing at New York’s Hal Bromm Gallery, one of Tribeca’s landmark art spaces, Tepedino is on view at Jag through January 30th.  Join us for a gallery reception, which is free and open to the public on Friday January 12th from 5-7.

Considered a top destination for fine contemporary art, offering carefully curated  exhibits of work by prominent artists from Key West and beyond, Jag Gallery is located at the Simonton Street entrance to Duval Square, 1075 Duval Street with ample, free parking.   Gallery hours are Tuesday-Sunday noon to 5, Monday’s by appointment.
