JAG GALLERY ANNOUNCES HONORS FOR SMALL WORKS 2024 ARTISTS
Duval Square’s JAG Gallery has announced honorees celebrating creative excellence in this year’s SMALL WORKS exhibit which opened on November 2nd. First introduced by artist and JAG Gallery founder Letty Nowak at her former gallery, The Lemonade Stand Art Studio in Bahama Village, SMALL WORKS is now in it’s 17th year, recording an unsurpassed number of entries culminating in a juried exhibition of 200 stunning works from 150 artists nationwide.
This year’s Judge’s Choice was awarded to Seattle based painter Tom McIntire for his TINY PORTRAIT OF THE ARTIST WHEN TINY with Honorable Mentions to Minneapolis artist Keven Lock for his mixed media PINK HARBOR and to two Key West art makers, Jordan-Mannix Lachner for her acrylic painting PETRONIA STREET 1963 and Tim Curtis for his assembled piece MANATEE TAIL. A People’s Choice Award, voted on by the gallery visitors and online will be awarded before the end of the exhibit which continues through November 24th and can be viewed at jaggallery.art.
