In Conversation With…Lincoln Perry at Jag Gallery Jag Gallery announces another in its series of gallery talks welcoming Lincoln Perry on Monday, February 20th at 6pm.
LINCOLN PERRY : A Retrospective explores over 20 years of the artist’s career with paintings in oil, oil pastel, and watercolor along with bronze and terracotta sculpture. Perry, a long time Key West favorite, has been featured in group and solo shows at prestigious galleries and museums from Maine to Manhattan to Duval Street and as a muralist has executed commanding installations in important public spaces in St. Louis, Washington DC, Tallahassee and elsewhere. As an academic, Lincoln has held faculty positions at the Univ. of Virginia, Univ. of New Hampshire, Queens College and at other institutions. As author, his most recently published book, SEEING LIKE AN ARTIST , (2022) is described by fellow writer Joyce Carol Oates as “Irresistibly readable, companionable and quotable.”
