Health Department Hosts Walk-In Flu Shot Clinic February 2
Because of the large increase in flu activity nationwide, the Florida Department of Health in Monroe County wants to encourage everyone to do their part to prevent getting seasonal flu and spreading it to others by getting the flu vaccine. The department will be providing flu shots at the Gato Building (1100 Simonton Street, Key West) on Friday, February 2 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. The flu shot event is open to the public and the vaccine will be given regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. No appointment necessary. Vaccine offered for children and adults; Children must be 6 months or older and have a parent/guardian present.
