Health Department Donates Socks to Homeless Shelters

(Monroe County, Fla.) –The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County recently donated almost 170 packs (1,000 pairs) of socks to KOTS and the Florida Keys Outreach Coalition for the Homeless.   These items were procured by the Bureau of Epidemiology to encourage education about the COVID-19 vaccine.  These organizations also received 200 COVID-19 vaccination rack cards in English, Spanish, and Creole with information that details the safety and efficacy of the vaccines.  For more information, visit monroe.flhealth.gov/vax.
