Hazardous Waste Drop Off

This Saturday — March 7th — the City of Key West and Waste Management are teaming together to provide the monthly free collection of household hazardous waste, chemicals and old electronics.

Waste Management sets up collection point in the parking lot in front of Sonny McCoy Indigenous Park from 8 a.m. until noon. You must have proof of residence in the City of Key West. No businesses waste is accepted.

We accept chemicals and electronics such as: old gas (in a leak-proof can), old oil, CFL light bulbs, batteries, wires, phones, computers, paint, paint remover, pool chemicals, fertilizers, weed killers, air conditioners, microwaves, TVs, gaming systems, radios, stereos, speakers, etc. No appliances.
