HARC Member Powell Retires

During its August meeting, the Key West City Commission commended retiring Historic Architectural Review Commission (HARC) member Letisia Powell for her nine years of dedicated service on the board.

Vice Mayor Sam Kaufman appointed her to the important volunteer position.

The City Charter created HARC, which oversees the preservation and conservation of the character, integrity, and appearance of the historic preservation districts, as well as for buildings individually listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
