Hi,
I’m writing an article about D. T. Sweeny of Key West.
In the 1870s and 1880s Sweeny had a saloon, grill, and soda bottle manufacturing business in Key West.
Sweeny raced his yachts for money in Key West and is buried in the Key West Cemetery.
I have pictures of his bottles and working on gathering more information from the Key West Historical Society.
There once was a road between Elizabeth and another named Douglas Sweeny.
Perhaps this story would be interesting to your readers.
