Free Tickets Available for Florida Keys Nonprofit Day
Professionals from charitable organizations across the county will convene on Tuesday, September 12, for Florida Keys Nonprofit Day, sponsored by First State Bank of the Florida Keys.
The event will be held from 1:30-5 p.m. at the Marathon Community Theatre and is free to paid staff and volunteers of nonprofit organizations, students, and community members interested in nonprofit service. Pre-registration at cffk.org/nonprofitday is required.
The afternoon will feature a keynote presentation on Artificial Intelligence for Nonprofits, presented by Shlomi Ron, founder and CEO of the Visual Storytelling Institute.
Shlomi will then join a panel of experts on Storytelling for Nonprofits, to include Hannah Edwards from Habitat for Humanity of Key West & the Lower Florida Keys, Wendy Gentes from Baptist Health Foundation and Gabriela Rojas from the Miami Diaper Bank. The panel will be moderated by award-winning writer, reporter and storyteller extraordinaire Mandy Miles.
