Food Schleppers* Needed

Southernmost Homeless needs a cadre of “Schleppers” to make a quick trip from the old Soup Kitchen to the Homeless Shelter every day. Volunteer Schleppers will bring the wonderful food the St. Mary’s volunteers prepare, out to serve the men and women who are staying that night at the Homeless Shelter on Stock Island. The pickup and 2 1/2 mile trip can be completed in about half an hour, but you are welcome to stay and help serve or just enjoy a delicious meal with our hungry brothers and sisters.
