Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council to meet in Marathon
The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary will hold an Advisory Council meeting at the Hyatt Place in Marathon, Florida, at 9 a.m. on Feb. 20, 2018. The meeting is open to the public.
On the agenda are a fishing guide licensing proposal and operational updates from NOAA Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission about priorities, issues and opportunities for public engagement. Advisory council members also will consider providing public comment on the Draft Proposed Program for the 2019-2024 National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program.
Public comment will be taken at 11:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. An agenda is posted at www.floridakeys.noaa.gov. This meeting will be streamed live on YouTube.
