Florida Keys History and Discovery Foundation Announces Signature Event: ‘A Havana Night at the Museum’ Set for Saturday, Nov. 13
Islamorada, FL – The Florida Keys History and Discovery Foundation is excited to announce plans for the fifth annual signature event, A Havana Night at the Museum, with title sponsor, Islamorada Brewery & Distillery. The event is Saturday, Nov. 13, 6 p.m., at Keys History & Discovery Center and outside on the Islander Resort Conference Center’s Tarpon Terrace, MM 82.
For one night only, guests will gather in the open air to visit 1940s Havana in its heyday as “America’s Playground” where tropical breezes flow and cabaret music excites. Gather your friends to hit the casino tables, enjoy a game of dominoes and toast with a specialty cocktail. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, an elegant dinner with dessert, as well as opportunities to bid on trips, jewelry, personal indulgences and more, in the live and online auctions – all while experiencing “the Wonder-land of America!”
Numerous sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are available. The Signature Event Committee is also seeking items for the live and online auctions. This event sold out in advance in previous years; ensure you don’t miss the fun and secure your seats today by visiting www.keysdiscovery.com/upcoming-events!
The annual fundraising event is being planned by Corporate Event Professional Olivia Hammon of Frond+Feather Events with assistance from the committee. For more information, [email protected] or call 305-922-2237.
The signature fundraising event benefits the Florida Keys History and Discovery Foundation, which operates the Keys History & Discovery Center. Proceeds from the event will help support the operation of the museum including our most popular program, the Keys History & Discovery Presents lecture series.
