First State Bank Congratulates Brown, Jimenez, and Rodriguez on Fifth Anniversaries
First State Bank of the Florida Keys is proud to celebrate the five-year anniversaries of: Laura Brown, Key Largo and Tradewinds Branch Manager; Janet Jimenez, Bookkeeping Representative; and Yaselin Rodriguez, Customer Service Representative-Digital Banking.
Brown has been in banking since 1990, and joined the First State Bank team as Branch Manager of the Key Largo and Tradewinds offices. Born and raised in South Florida, Brown has been living in the Keys since 1980, and is the President of the Board of Directors for the Center for Independent Living of the Keys, and is also a Board Member of the Florida Keys Electric Co-op “Round Up Program”.
Jimenez began her career with First State Bank in Item Processing, and then transferred to Bookkeeping in 2014. Born in Cuba, Jimenez settled in Miami in 1988, where she graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Miami-Dade College.
Rodriguez started with the Bank at the Stock Island Office. In 2015, she transferred to Digital Banking as a Customer Service Representative. Originally from Havana, Cuba, she is a graduate of Key West High School and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Florida International University, where she is an active member of the National Society for Leadership and Success.
