Fire tears through Marathon residence

There were no reported injuries following a 9:30 p.m. Monday fire at 250 92nd Street, Oceanside, Marathon.

Sgt. Lisette Quintero and Deputy Victor Christea responded to the fire.

Deputy Christea arrived to find a mobile home fully engulfed.

Three people live at the residence. Two were just returning home and a third was down the street at a family member’s home when the fire occurred.

Marathon Fire Rescue extinguished the fire.

The blaze is under investigation by fire officials.
