FDOT to close Seven Mile Bridge for repairs tonight into Thursday morning

The Florida Department of Transportation announced Wednesday afternoon they will be closing down the Seven Mile Bridge (Mile Marker 40 to Mile Marker 46.8) in both directions from 11  p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, to 1 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, in order to perform bridge repairs.

Only emergency vehicles will be allowed to cross during those times.

Please help us spread the word in order to allow residents to plan accordingly.

The closure is part of an ongoing bridge construction repair project.

The scheduled closure could change due to weather.
