FDOT to close one lane of the Seven Mile Bridge beginning Sunday
The Florida Department of Transportation will be closing one lane of the Seven Mile Bridge (Mile Marker 40 to Mile Marker 46.8) from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Sunday, Oct. 25, to Thursday, Oct. 29, while workers restripe U.S. 1.
During this closure, one lane will remain open.
Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone alternately.
Drivers will need to stop before the bridge and wait for the flagger to direct them to cross.
The speed limit will be reduced through the work zone and drivers should expect delays.
