Extended Lane Closure at Outbound Triangle & US-1
There will be an extended lane closure beginning at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18 through noon on Thursday, May 19 at the outbound lane of the Triangle. One outbound lane on US 1 will be closed to allow for the reconfiguration of the bike lane at the request of the City of Key West Bicycle/Pedestrian Coordinator to increase bicycle flow within that area. It is suggested that when exiting the Island you use the South Roosevelt instead of North Roosevelt or US 1, which may alleviate additional congestion. You are encouraged to allow for extra time Thursday morning when planning your commute to work and/or school. An off-duty police officer will be on site to control traffic flow. For your safety and the safety of others, please use extra caution in this area. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation.
