Drug Arrest on Duck Avenue

A Key West man was arrested for selling cocaine from his apartment.

On August 24, the Key West Police Department Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at the Duck Avenue apartment.

Detectives received complaints that resident Tomas Geher, 34, was selling cocaine from his apartment.

Detectives initiated an investigation that led to a search warrant being issued.

During the search warrant, detectives located powder cocaine as well as evidence of a narcotics sales operation including a digital scale and packaging equipment. They arrested Tomas Geher, 34.

Geher was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of Poinciana Elementary School, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving without a valid license.

Geher was taken to the Monroe County Detention Center without incident.
