DOH-Monroe Provides Emergency Support in Aftermath of Hurricane Milton

Monroe County, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County (DOH-Monroe) provided emergency support to multiple counties dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Milton.

  • Carla Fry, PhD, MSN, RN deployed to Pinellas County to provide support with health officer duties at both the special needs shelter and the emergency operations center.
  • Mark Roby, DNP, MBA, RN deployed to Hillsborough County to provide support with overnight managerial duties at the special needs shelter.
  • Derrick Charleston deployed to Pinellas County to provide support with local ESF8 planning.
  • Gio Grossi deployed to Sarasota County, followed by Osceola County, to provide support with logistics.
  • Alim Isakh deployed to Sarasota County, followed by Osceola County, to provide support with logistics.
