District II Community Meeting on Oct 14th
District II Commissioner Sam Kaufman is convening a community meeting on Wednesday, October 14th from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.
This in-person meeting will be the inauguration of the new meeting room at the Community Services building (the former Key West Citizen building) at 3420 Northside Drive.
Topics up for discussion will include updates and initiatives on affordable house and improvements to North Roosevelt Blvd. Also on tap will be a discussion of Covid-19 relief efforts, including small business loans, rental or mortgage relief, and the status of eviction and foreclosure moratoriums. The upcoming cruise ship referenda are also on the agenda.
Commissioner Kaufman is seeking input from the public on these topics and more. Covid safety measures for this meeting will include physical distancing and masks.
