Detectives seek help in boat burglary cases 

Middle Keys Detectives are asking for the public’s help in two cases in which fishing rods were stolen from two boats docked at Keys Fisheries Marina in Marathon.

The burglaries occurred during the overnight hours of March 16. Three rods worth approximately $1,500 were taken from one boat and four rods worth approximately $1,320 were taken from another.

The suspect vehicle is a silver hatchback and the suspects appear to be three males under the age of 20.

One suspect wore red shorts. Another wore an orange hoodie and the third suspect was taller than the other two and appeared to be wearing glasses.
