Derby Days Donation

Hotelier Kate Miano on Tuesday presented the Key West Police Department’s Mounted Unit with nearly $3700 in donations that resulted in The Garden’s annual Derby Days fundraiser.

This is the fourth year for the event, and the generous donation – raised from a generous community – helps provide support for caring for the horses. Miano said she was pleased that the event, held in May when the Kentucky Derby is run, was such a huge success.
